Fuaakk, this is some good shit, but a few weeks ago a few mates and I went up there, a good 8 foot and ketut's right was firing all to ourselves, SOME GOOD SHIT! :D

loved balian. had some fun little surfs (a few times with koby abberton and some other bra boys), awesome meals from the food market at the top of the hill and some liver rotting arak from the warung on the the beach!
but saw a tiger shark, and being the english kook i am, freaked and ran away to lombok

@the world - Just go out and enjoy surfing. For most of us its not a competition. ..
Competitions are funded by surf clothing industry. Most "surf shops" dont even sell surf boards anymore, if you are lucky you might find 8 or 9 made in China boards, good luck getting a block of wax! So the point is- just have fun and don't be a ego tripper out there in the water.
