You should really let it rise in a room with a nice and warm temperature and knead it in a lot of flower. Because that dough was damn sticky!

@Jackie2253 My grandmother never used a weighing scale (she didna have one), everything was guessed and "boy" was her bread lips-making - she was born in 1868 and passed away in 1964. If you have the touch you duna need a scale.

@WORMGERM You should use a true measuring spoon when baking to get accurate results. Do you ever add any flavorings to your bread? Such as dill, garlic, cheese......Why can't I use regular flour and add the salt and baking powder?

self rising flour has the baking powder in it and salt , it's not cake flour and it doesn't have yeast in it. All purpose flour is just flour.

yes it does. it is awesome too. eat it right out of the oven. when you cut it smells great too.
