  • This video was shot in the mid 1990's prior to the new Sportsman model being sold in the USA. The video shows how durable the drive actually is and does not break when flying the chair as "myth" would have it. The Sportsman was sold for 3 or 4 years in the late 1990's. The Patrol replaced the full-time 2wd Sportsman.

  • "Piece of sh*t"?

I can only assume that you've got little or NO Ural experience. These bikes are built like TANKS.

Go back to driving your Cage, and kindly STFU.

  • I thought that Urals were second rate copies of old BMW's. I inherited my Dad's, and boy was I wrong. Just went on my first real off-road ride, and my '05 Gear Up got out of stuff that would've stopped most Jeeps. The Russians build one hell of a motorcycle!

  • j aime birn ce genre d engin moto a cydcar exelent

  • What ever happened to Bob Gerend? After that pothead rich boy Thom Lynot forced him out as head of Ural America?

Flying the chair on a Sportsman is suposed to be a big no no. The Sportsman has a diferential and all the power goes to the wheel in the air. This causes major stress when the sidecar wheel comes down. If you lift the chair on a Sportsman you should take you hand off the throttle and lean into it untill it comes down.

  • Gaenbaligi Братух 11 редуктор и те урал под 170 попрет ))), МОжешь не верить лично видел. )))

  • @skids7 I would guess that the sidecar coming down momentarily biases the weight toward the rear. A little throttle/pull and presto! You have a wheelie.

  • I like the sound of the engine!

  • ja tosche tak magu

  • yeah, it is cool... i have one Ural 650 of 1981. It spent more time to the mechanich than on the road. i changed 2 engines and the second one after 900 km had problems again. I had to fix an R65 BMW engine... now everything is fine but i can not call her anymore Ural!
