  • To me this song is 4 minutes of pure happiness. And it's one of those tunes that sure gets you singing. Cheers!

  • Adaritha-Nice Khan-Klone! If Chaka got a dime for every singer that she's influenced or has bitten her style she'd be a billionaire! the record industry owes her BIG TIME!!!

  • Well, when it comes to Chaka i always want to hear my all time favourite with her: Clouds! :DDDD

  • Yessss! Thank you!!

  • You're welcome! Cheers!

  • so so love this track, looked for it for 20 yrs, reminds me of cleethorpes winter gardens all the way...... bigtime thank you :-)

  • pure quality.....

  • I had forgotten all about this gem until I stumbled across your channel. Thanks so much for posting this quality track. Sooooooo Goooooooood!

  • This is actually Norman Connors featuring Ms. Adiritha (aka Ada Dyer) from the Norman Connors album Take It To The Limit

  • This lady has a cracking vocal capacity & the tightness of the strings to this day still hold it.

    The bass is outstanding.

  • I love the break at 3:12, it's so energizing. Until I find this on CD or mp3 and can only listen on the computer on here, ill keep the screen open ;) Can't sit in front of the turntable all day.

  • @WestLakeGold That's my favourite too, both these songs really have the bright fresh happiness to them like a sunny crisp morning.

  • I would love to hear this at the beginning of a movie that takes place in NYC in the 70s. This beats any of the cliche disco tunes hands down.

  • And those are the Jones Girls singing backups.

  • The I-Beam Club in San Francisco; circa 1980. I saw and heard Adaritha sing this live (to track) on New Year's Eve 1980/81. The headline was Adaritha 10:30PM, Vicky-Sue Robinson 12:mindnight, and Jean Carne 1:30AM... and champagne, too! And all for $40.00. Aah, the good-ol' days. I was only 24.
