The Wisconsin Technical College System is commemorating its 100th Anniversary in 2011. This video highlights the many advances in education and the technical colleges. Starting with the early vision of Charles McCarthy who recognized the importance of and need for career-centered education and apprenticeships, to being the first system to offer apprenticeships. Wisconsin's Technical Colleges continue to be critical to the economic development of the state and a national model for postsecondary education.
