  • Absolutely beautiful performance and in the true style of Renaissance. Only the description on the lable is wrong. What I hear is not a guitar but either lute or vihuela. Thank you for posting anyway. The more you post of this kind the better. M.

  • Yes, you are right about the instrument. Since I lost the disc cover, I neither know what it is, lute or vihuela

  • That's beautiful, I hadn't heard those concrete differences on this piece.

Were this composed by Narváez, or is it a personal arrangement?

  • He is the composer

  • Thank you. That's beautiful.

  • beautiful

  • Has the original them really been lost?

  • @Feanor88 It's a medley. The first variation is by Narváez, the second I think is Shirley Rumsy's own, the third is Narváez again, but modified by S.R. Variations four and five are by Enriquez de Valderrábano and the last variation is Narváez again (a reprise of the first).

  • Son las siete diferencias a gurdame las vacas. Maestro.

  • @GuitarraUltima Is is Vihuela I'm pretty sure it is.

  • Pensaba que las vacas guardan los hindúes, no los cristianos.

  • En la parte intermedia aparece un pasaje que no esta en las versiones que existen donde se puede encontrar esa partitura??

  • @tweenoo

I'm almost certain that it's a vihuela. A lute has a more nasal quality.
