@jmmlk1987 ...was that if there were visiting craft then it might be understandable why they're frequently described as similar. In the same way that an uncontacted tribe might look up at planes and describe them as similar - Because that's how most of them work: Wings and a tail. See what I mean? Obviously there are differences (four wings, prop. etc...) but then it's the same with UFO sightings.

@jmmlk1987 Did you actually read my whole comment? I said I'm not a big believer not that I dismiss it out of hand. I have seen what very much appealed to me as a UFO before (not a 'frisbee shape' either) but as I have no way for knowing then I can't say for sure one way or the other. As for common sense - A lot of people have claimed a lot of things over the years which turn out to be nonsense or based entirely on faith. My point...

@hoffmanshades I agree. I don't think you know or are willing to find out. If you were, you would have (probably) used some common sense as far as these claimed sightings go. If people have been claiming to experience very similar things through thousands of years of recorded history then, maybe just maybe there might actually be some sort of truth behind it? Kind of naive to think that in the vastness of all universes, we are the only planet with life & only intelligent species, just saying.

@pizza5647 Yeeeeahhh... I'm not a big believer in UFOs but I have to say - Planes here on earth all look fairly similar so if there were craft that could travel as far as a UFO then maybe it's likely that they would work the same way and thus be similar shaped. I don't know... Just saying...
