Last time we were there in Jersey, 2006, there was a sign at the Pontins site on the way to Plemont saying 'Scheduled for Demlition, not sure when though.

Love that beach, not keen on all the steps to it though :/ Do they still have that cafe there? They always seem to play Dido in there.

when i worked there in '75, 20 fags cost 20p and a pint of beer was 12p, thanks to tax free

Pontin's holiday camp is still there, just abandoned. it closed a good few years ago now!

I went there and the waves are class and the whole Island is bootiful. except the sand worms at St Brelade :(

i don't live in Jersey i'm afraid - was there on holiday - i guess you mean the cafe at the top of the cliffs at Plemont - there is still a cafe but not called Pontins anymore. Great cakes tho. I may be back there in June and will take some video.
