  • I love Penn. He's so self-deprecating and intelligent. He clearly thinks on various subjects a great deal, gives his honest opinion, and then pulls back and says, "I could be wrong, this is my opinion and it's subject to change." He has his morals and his values, he's not politicizing to tell people what they want to hear, he's just voicing his concerns and his valid objections. I'd vote for the guy if he ever ran for anything.

  • thomas jefferson was a libertarian

  • Why is common sense now considered crazy?

  • @SansAuthoritas so... he is a comunist?? Milton Friedman was a libertarian but he believe in school subsidies and thats wors!!

  • @Coteincdr

That's right. Thomas Jefferson, libertarian extraordinaire, was the first in America to force people to register their dogs with the State. (Meaning, the institution of coercive government.)

  • @SansAuthoritas ?????

  • @Coteincdr

The man created the first dog license in America. 'Nuff said?

  • @SansAuthoritas A libertarian believes in alot of things, one thing does not make the diference in a big way he was a libertarian. If you say a believe in a Small goverment (courts, police and army) you are a libertarian for me. And second is not realy clear he believe or not in that priciple.

  • @Coteincdr

A libertarian believes in the principle of non-aggression. Jefferson did not believe in the principle of non-aggression.

  • @hylian726 interesting you focused on finding justification for turning away from the unpleasent rather than the part about 'you! you help them.' philanthropy is an act of compassion for all humanity. the best part? it doesnt have to cost a cent.

  • Why aren't there any "scholarships" to clown college? :D Forget it I know why! ;P
