@SaberBeyond At the time he wrote the song, his girlfriend had been abroad on a trip for 3-4 months. He wrote it cause he was doubting if they even would have a relationship when she returned, and that he doubted that he would stay faithful. When she returned, he stood at the airport, singing the song for her. They continued being a couple for half a year I believe.
So, its not about cheating, but the doubt if a relationship still was a relationship.
The doubt is his weakness.

It's art, so I think intentionally open to interpretation of course. For what it's worth my take is that, because he so closely whispers the "weakness" to her, he is ashamed/guilty of something he's done or is (e.g. typically another girl).
