@hectorelbomba You are the joke. Say nothing about the commander. He is sacred.

@padredemishijos12 is 100% corect Comrade. As we Venezuelans say "with Chavez EVERYTHING without Chavez LEAD" (con Chavez TODO sin Chavez PLOMO!!!). Estrangers enjoy the music we give you but also to remember: is only possible because the Comander Chavez!!! Venezuela ROCKS!!!

@hugocaracas2021 hahahaha! You're a joke! The Commander LMFAO!

@cutepossession I'm surprised you said that because I used to think the same until I saw this precise video. The understanding and the attention to slight and minuscule details truly makes a piece beautiful rather than mediocre. The orquestras he works with are highly revered. Although it's true a conductor is nothing without the band, the band would be lost without a good conductor.

@dziady1 - Not joking at all -Perhaps your ears are accustomed to noise on a grand scale whereas my
ears are accustomed to making music on a grand scale - big difference and knowledge .

@dziady1 You've got to be joking. Buy yourself a new pair of ears.

@safantiafagofo Jose Antonio Abreu is very thankful to President Chavez for helping the families of the musicians, and for increasing the budget of 'EL SISTEMA". We are all grateful to President Chavez.
I think we witness the battle of volume verses substance in the middle of this video (around 4:05 I think), the way he corrects the musicians adds so much substance to those bars, there definitely is a noticable difference in their result and also, at least in my mind, an added substance.

I disagree, I really think that excitement he directs with impassions both the musicians and the music he is directing. But to each his own!
