George Grove, Bill Zorn, and Rick Daugherty are carrying on the excellent tradition of the Kingston Trio that was started by Bob Shane (whose health hasn't been the best recently), and the deceased Dave Guard, Nick Reynolds, and John Stewart. I believe that Zorn and Grove performed with Shane and/or Reynolds.
the reason the harmonies sound so limelighter is because the singer on the right, rick dougherty, sang with the limelighters for years before he left and joined the kingston trio.
Definitely Limeliter harmonies. The sound of the Trio is completely different with the new members, but vocally, they're the best of all the trios. I'd be interested to see how good they are in person.
Ah, a good beer on a Friday night. I'm looking forward to kicking back tonight at the lake.

The writer Kevin Mckrells is still the best version of this tune of all the covers that have been done including this one

@kmckrell All of the Hard Time Are Gone is a great song....Loved it...and the Kingston Trio does a great arrangement of it.

Bill Zorn was with them, too. Three great and complimentary voices here.
