Some things we do are really wrong and everyone knows they are - f.i. what some "humans" amongst us do to the whales - a lot of whale species are amongst the most intelligent and gentle beings on our planet; why don't we all finally make a stand for what's right - they really don't deserve what Japan, Norway and Iceland are doing right now - STOP WHALING !

Lyrics:

Waltzing & Whaling
(Who'll Come a Waltzing with Me)

lyrics & music © Artspurg SABAM 2008, melody: arranged and adapted from Andrew Barton "Banjo" Paterson's Waltzing Mathilda.

Once a jolly whaler, waltzed upon the seven seas,
Hunting for a profit, and killing marks his eye
He sailed and he whaled, singing with his countrymen
"We'll keep on a waltzing, and all the whales must die"

Up jumped the merry nations, proclaiming tough quotations
Crying it's a shame sir, this killing that you do
But he will not hear the call, and lies about research and all
Saying that's my bizzi-ness, a-waltzing his way through

Who'll come a waltzing, who'll come a waltzing
Who'll come a waltzing & whaling said he
Merrily he sang, a whaling with his countrymen:
"Who'll come a waltzing & whaling with me"

The whaler's money comes you see, from selling goods to you and me
A brand new car, TV, guitar, a chip or tourist trip
So let's sing with this fellow; and I will play me cello
Happily we'll help him fund, another whaling ship

As I wear a dancing shoe, I'll join the fun that's what I'll do
Such a happy waltzing, and a brand new holocaust
With sunburn from a rising sun, a fishing trip can be such fun
Let us join this waltz before, the whales are gone and lost

Who'll come a waltzing, who'll come a waltzing
Who'll come a waltzing & whaling said he
Merrily he sang, a whaling with his countrymen:
"Who'll come a waltzing & whaling with me"

Who'll come a waltzing, who'll come a waltzing
Who'll come a waltzing & whaling said he
As the whaler finished waltzing, then the world stood up and said:
"He's done with researching, and all the whales are dead"
