Maybe you should add to test the cables are dead before you go touching them. I have been to plenty breaker boards that where marked wrong.

Those steps can be done in a condo too? or only for houses?

@ellenvp1 ground is never blue ..blue is for older 4 wire setups where white is heat and blue is cool.. you usually just connect it with the yellow wire to the Y terminal these days..

What about the blue wire? Is it/was it the ground wire?
If not, isn't there a ground wire that has to be connected to the ground terminal?

Thank you guys , this video was really helpful. I was not planning to do it myself for I dont consider myself an expert when it comes to dealing with electricity issues , however, your video was extremely helpful and Im now planning to do it myself. This will save me a couple of 100 dollars.
