what is this music? i swear it's the most generic song i have ever heard. heard it all over the place, tv, radio, internet and elevators!

The engraving bit has a horrible tendency to be deflected from the intended path by the grain of the wood.Next-to-useless. Chisels, every time!

@AnnihilatingAngel You need a coarser bit or lower speed.

Follow the line, follow the line!

I have a Dremel, and I find the thing burns the wood.

difficult way to engrave if you ask me, and I'm not hating....I, to this day, am STILL forced to engrave this way, IMO i think it would be easier to use a dremel guide attachment (which i plan to get soon) Perhaps its just because i strive too hard for perfection on my projects, but this is an insanely difficult way to engrave a wooden project, especially if you want to have your cuts, curves, and contours absolutely perfect. One day soon i'll get all the proper dremel accessories

i think it's pretty cool that you're showing people how to use different tools,.......
you just might want to position your hand differently ( or use another hand for support ),...to get some straighter lines,......over all pretty cool bud,...!!!!

Sometimes when that happens the speed is too fast

I do agree with you it is difficult and shaky. I have some friends that are really good carvers and I swear they can do anything with these. I am not that talented. A guide would be better at least to steady the hand.
All the best to you

It will work but you have to carefully controll the speed to prevent melting of the resin
