Death Knight Soloing Curator in Karazhan

Deathet of EU, Quel'Thalas solo's Curator in Karazhan.

Most people say this is impossible to do, but, it's not :) The trick is to forget trying to heal of Curator and don't really dps him much in his normal phase. Concentrate on the orbs, they are not immune to diseases and you can heal yourself from them. This was only my second attempt at Curator and if I go back again (I should do, Kara nets around 800g from boss kills and vendoring loot) I will probably try using lower rank IT and PS on the orbs, this means they'll stay alive longer and give me more healing.

Once you get to the enrage phase it really gets tough, make sure you keep an orb up as long as possible to tab Death Strike off and then keep all your healing cooldowns up and nuke away! It's touch and go at that point. You could probably leave your Army cooldown till that point as well though using it on an evoc was a LOT of dps!

Awesome vid, my soloing content spec is blood down to heart strike then get permaghoul. I think setting the permaghoul on curator whilst your getting health from the orbs might be winwin. Anyway good stuff :)

Damage from the orbs will Pwn your ghoul tbh i'd rather have my ghoul for emergency sacrifice if i'm low on HP than having to worry about it being on CD when I needs it. but that's me :)

How long does a complete solo run of Kara take?

and how much do you have to pay if you change spec for bosses or in repairs/repair bots :p

I can do a full run (excluding netherspite) in around 2.5 hours. I don't need to change specs because my soloing spec is my dual spec and I can do a full run of kara in that spec. Repairs... I very rarely die now so only around 5-10g. But a repair in full reds will set me back around 90g

you cant do netherspite the bugg with DRW is patched since 3.1 he isnt soloable now
