  • I know everyone is looking forward to more updates. I'm looking forward to filming and posting them, but it wont be for about another week as I'm leaving for my honeymoon in the morning. So as much as I would love to stay and film for you guys, I want to be laying on a beach in december more. Keep checking back and I'll have more soon! Thanks for watchhing!

  • Thanks.

I am a seller and maker of performance parts for these cars. I am on all the maxima/alitma forums and there are ALOT of members with these issues. Dealer charges 14+ hours in labor with around $400.-$500 in parts. Ill post these videos up on the sites as they are very helpful. Is there a way that they can all be bundled into 1 file?

  • @cxjperformance Yeah as soon as I'm done with the job, I'll put them all together as one.

  • Thanks for the videos. Im looking forward to anymore uploads on this job. I am in between pulling the motor or doing the timing chains in my garage as well. This have been a job i have been dreading for awhile now. The 04-08 maximas have this problem and tranny valve body issues with the 2004-2006 5 speed automatics transmissions

  • @cxjperformance Glad you like them and I hope they are helpful! I'll be back on it next week, so keep an eye out for the updates. If you know of anyone else with these problems, have them check out these video's. Wanna help as many people as I can with this repair, I know it's a common problem many people are having to deal with.

  • OH NO on the timing cover! hopefully that can be repaired.....I was yelling at you on the computer as I had just watched another guy (2012nugget) do this job and he pointed out the two bolts hidden under the oil pan! ....just out of curiosity how many miles are on this car?
