  • Actually, when you're eighteen years old, and you've been raised watching movies where the hero never dies, and only the enemy gets killed, when they have never seen a man missing his face, or his arm, or all of his limbs, turned into a monster that their own mother can hardly bear to see, well, maybe they do need to be warned about that.

  • The only problem is that soldiers KNOW that they MIGHTdie in war.The soldiers who died for America were PAYED to even

DIE for their country. They are paid to save YOUR ASS too. They tell them everything before they start serving in the army.

You are disgusting. You are not concerned about the soldiers life who died, you are concerned which party takes over in politics

  • My life was never endangered by an Iraqi or an Afghan. Our American soldiers were fired up with false promises that they would be toppling a dictator who had something to do with 911, and that the Iraqis would cover them with roses. And no, the recruiting posters aren't like cigarette packages, with warnings of death. And if I disgust you, you pathetic idiot, the pleasure is all mine.

  • "The signature aspect of that conviction being that Manson never set foot on the property where the murders were committed. Obviously there are some similarities there with this case Bugliosi proposes some attorney's general in the United States should prosecute against Bush."

And what is the similarity? That Bush wasn't on the battlefield when the death occurred?

  • Maybe not so obvious, but yes, that is the similarity. As I recall, Manson wound up his gang with crazy political plans to set off a "race war," and probably thought he could not be convicted since he didn't participate in the murders.

  • "The recruiting posters aren't like cigarette packages, with warnings of death"? I dont think the soldiers are that stupid that we have to warn them that they might die in a war.

  • Succinct.
