The Russian resort of Krasnaya Polyana, near Sochi and the Black Sea, is getting ready to host the first stop of the 2009 Freeride World Tour. Mountains guides and organisers are scouting the potential competition venue, checking safety, logistics and access. Unpredictable weather and conditions make it hard to plan things much in advance, and the crew has to adapt in a permanent way. In the meantime, the riders are enjoying the otherwise excellent snow conditions in the valley.

  • Wow TheMetroRock, that was mature...

  • @AdigaSilk - kill yourself plz =))))

  • It is typical to say that russia has a cold war attitude. but russia is not in WTO...,NATO, missile defence system in poland, bulgaria and tchech rep. support of saakashwili and juschenko by US goverment,

  • If Russia is open country, how about it opens its minds to the Circassian issue that these peaceful demonstrators are raising? (How is this not peaceful? I didn't see riots or violence at the sochi protest.)

  • Am I understanding this right? You and your people are still living in the cold war era! It is typical Russian mentality to say that any form of opposition to Russia is US based. I can assure you, this is not financed by the usa government nor is this US propaganda! These are truths engraved in the memory of millions of Circassians. Now, with the world focusing its lens on Sochi, Circassians are speaking to their lens.

  • your right. but russia is an open country. everyone have the right to live there he/she wants. i dont think these demostrations are peceful. they are us propaganda...financed and supported by usa

  • On the contrary, it was not 300 years ago. Do you math. 2014 will mark the 150th anniversary of the genocide of the Circassian people.

I do think the native people of Canada have every right to peacefully demonstrate against the Canadian games. They share many of the hardships that Circassians struggled and continue to struggle with. They even supported Circassians when the No Sochi 2014 group traveled to Vancouver to protest Sochi.

I don't see how your comment with Mongolia relates here.

  • бля это э надо эти суки черкессы которых российская имеприя тогда завоевала 300 лт назад щас вдруг в олимпиаду че то хотят...где вы раньше были!
