Bad Manners - Oh I Do Like To Be Beside the Seaside
Bad Manners singing Oh I Do Like to be Beside the Seaside upbeat to the usual way it was sang when I was a kid also a seaside organ playing it in the middle all accompanied by a few saucy post cards of the type that were always found down Southend , Clacton or most places on the coast. They always had a double meaning and where quite risqué in the 50s and 60s. When I was a kid I used to have a gander at these but the joke usually went right over me head. Saying that, though some of the cards look 40s,50s and 60s ish there are some that are of this century eg The Eden Project one and The Wind Generator farm one.
I apologise about the sound quality ... and maybe it is just as well that the writing on some of the cards is indistinct ...
