I thought you go to a track to go fast not to be stuck in traffic, you can do that on the highway.

You were 1 group too low. It's more fun with like minded (skillled) maniacs.
Well done.

Wow, the first 6 minutes of this video was even frustrating for me to watch, I couldn't imagine your impatience towards the people who don't look in their mirrors when you've been riding their arse for 20 seconds.

To bad there is no1 else in your "level range" to compete against :D

That's one hell of a car. My favorite parts are the corvette passes. Just out of curiosity, have you ever raced against a V8 miata?

actually yes. It was a Miata with a LS1 corvette engine with 11" wide tires.

Seems like you spend a good amount of time on the track. How often you do you go out? People tell me that it gets expensive. How much is the fuel and tires costs for you?

I get out there a couple of days a month. 10 hours/800 miles a month.
Tires $1200
Brake pads $600
Oil changes $300
Brake fluid replacement $200
Events cost about $300
PLUS, you have to fix whatever breaks on the car.
Each of these have to be done every 10 to 20 hours depending on how hard you drive, the temperature and track conditions. 700 to 1500 miles.
There are tires and pads that last longer, but they are slower. A new driver will get many times that usage.
