Airport ground-handling norms to be tightened?

The recent terror attacks in Mumbai have got the government reexamining even the different forms of foreign direct investment coming into the country and the first sector to see tightening in norms may be the sensitive ground handling at airports.From January, airlines like Jet airways and Kingfisher were supposed to shut down their ground handling operations and hand it to any of the three new companies which will be appointed to do ground handling at the major airports in the country.
