'For My Country' and 'Unwind' (2:24) performed by Luton-based post-punk group UK Decay. I just heard this on 6 Music and was reminded of it's sheer power and greatness. Enjoy! Taken from, 'FOR MY COUNTRY - E.P.' (1980). LISTEN LOUD!

Steven 'Abbo' Abbot - vocals. Steve Spoon - guitar. Martin 'Segovia' Smith - bass. Steve Harle - drums.

Ablaze in their eyes
Death is their glory
Oh the honor's so great
This scheme for esteem
To relive the stories
Spitting tales of hate

Smashing and crashing
Disguised as terrain
Count up the memories
We'll go back again
For the honor I don't ask why
His majesty's pleasure's my honor to die
For my country
For my country

A blaze in the fields
For death is quite gory
Oh, for the regal return
To swim in the blood
Or the flood of champagne
To see the home fires burn

We're smashing and crashing
Disguised as terrain
Count up the memories
We'll go back again
For the honor I don't ask why
His majesty's pleasure's my honor to die
For my country
For my country

UNWIND

A night for celebration
A night to unwind
A night when Dr Jekyll
Pushes Mr Hyde from behind

Release me, I will unwind tonight
The hopes delay the message
Distorted in my mind
Emotions begin to rise
Resistance starts to unwind
Release me, I will unwind tonight
When thrown into the dark
The facts don't seem the same
A game for the insane
The cat begins to bark

Release me, I will unwind tonight
Falling into the night
A twisted vision stands clear
Clear in my sight
But reveling in this Devil's delight
It seems so right
I took Adam's bite

Tonight
I will unwind
Tonight
