@TDMSolutions thank you for replying, i do think its a nice tool, just didn´t understand what was the difference between the cutter studio and the normal boolean. well, i have done some jewelry projects just in rhino 4.0 with the surface tools, but never in rhino gold. i´ll start working on jewelry more serious, so i guess i´d have to get the rhino gold asap!

Good video! one question, why you just don´t do the normal rhino boolean diference between the diamonds and the ring, instead of doing all the cutter process? i mean, is not the same result anyways?

@xme12x Hello xme12x! Thanks for writing! It would be possible to do the boolean, but, in jewelry, this is the traditional way of do, so, we keep it ! Also, using cutter studio, you can save your tailored cutter to use it in the future! :)
