This project consists of rebuilding four Tsunami devastated villages in Sri Lanka as well building an inter-community resource center in the town of Trincomalee. The conflict sensitive approach ensures that the project addresses the needs of all communities equitably. The project also includes components for the strengthening of civil society.

Am grateful to finally mention that I watched the video entitled Conflicts Reconstruction in Sri-lanka by Sarvodaya.
It was a sad experience for the people in Vadaavan, especially because of the problems caused by the Tsunami such natural disasters can be so destructive both to human beings and their property. I witnessed that over 30,000 people died, ½ a million people were displaced and many houses destroyed.
