  • @bedrocker7 The guys are re- making Parachute album coming out in 2011. The personal are Jon Povey (keyboards) and Wally Waller (bass) joining them is Skip Allen and the unforgettable Peter Tolson. Watch out for them under

    The Pretties website.

  • Hey Wally and Jon, great to see you guys up here talkin a wee bit about the great Sunstroke project. Thanks for all the great music in The Fenmen, Pretties and now The Bexleys, very cool and pure class choices on the CD. Best of luck with it all, and thanks Wally for your time in answering some of my questions for the bits I've done in Shindig! The Pretty Things, Fenmen, Bexleys...and Ugly Things forever! Cheers- Lenny Helsing (of The Thanes and The Wildebeests)

  • Good Luck guys, You are what real talent is about. We miss you in The Pretty Things both your abilities where outstanding. Wally is so good on bass and John you rip those keyboards with grace and harmony both your vocals match Beach Boy standards and blend like a smooth cocktail--John no black note playing.Ive watched and listened from those early Fenmen times. You both have given so much pleasure in the past to all your fans--regards thank you--- Brian

  • The Epitome of Rock n' Roll Koolness!!....these "Bexley Bros" are..... Thanx MUCH J & W for this project, as well as "Philippe Debarge" & ALL of your WONDERFUL Contributions to the Pretty Things!!Eric

  • Grew up with Parachute. You can't have great music like that again where it was on vinyl with no music videos or internet to bring any exactness to the imagination. It was a feeling that just came through a good set of speakers then. Thanks guys.
