Testing the basic functionallity of multiplayer in the AJAX Real Time Stratgy game im programming. clients seem able to communicate with each other via a database. speed should not be taken into consideration here as the information was only requested once a second, which is quite slow but nice for debugging purposes
@DanToretto1 Im working on a different project now, but if i ever get back into web development i might start finishing it. I have learned so much since then about techniques used in games in the 3D world that could be applied here, and more effective art workflows :P also there are varoius aspects of HTML5s introduction that are very attractive to a project like this was.

@Olirap That's sad to hear. Something like this definitely needs a coder and artist duo and sometimes its hard to find the other person (a good/committed person). But in the meantime you could have simply used paint to draw stick figure placeholders since the functionality is what mattered. From there, you could try attracting an artist to fill in the rest. But good luck if you ever continue.

what is this???

@deVILLA70 It was going to be an in-browser strategy game using only the bits in most web browsers, i.e Javascript, PHP, CSS and HTML. but i had no artists, hence darth vader. and let the project die.
"code.google.com/p/in-browser-rts/" <-all the source is there, but im not sure if the database had ever been backed up to it
