@brianmay65 I'd argue Geddy Lee and others did more. Macca only used it for one of the "new" songs on the "Beatles Anthology" release (and it honestly sounds out-of-place, in a song where most of the instrumentation was from the late '60s) while Geddy had two that he used for several albums & tours from the mid '80s to early '90s. Most of the Bassists I know would associate Wal Basses with either Geddy or Justin Chancellor of Tool as he's used them almost exclusively since 1996.

@Hiperi0n Very well-spoken reply! I'm an 85% fingerstyle guy, but the other 15% is solid, hardcore-yet-lovingly-playing pickstyle. There's more than enough "Pickstyle Virtuosos" (someone tell Tony Levin that it's "not allowed"... but then we'd lose his wonderful "Sledgehammer" line) that have proven Bass is just as "true" played as such, but apparently some need reminding.
...and fantastic bass & tone. One day I'd love to get a Wal: Colin Edwin of Porcupine makes his fretless *sing*!

@mflagg19 Buy one at Wal basses. It's that easy!
