For the money the bike is of a high spec and its very good, but its only good for what it was made for which is simple cross counrty but as soon as u begin to throw it about, breaks and then u repair it with stronger and heavier parts therefore throwing away the lighwheight spec of the bike. So if ur gonna do alot of trials simply do not buy, if ur gonna do cross-country its perfect. Ive learnt that u have to buy a bike for the individual riding style and u can't buy an all rounder.

is the scott aspect 55 a good bike for street?

To be honest its not. I bought the Scott before i started getting into trials so I have to do with it for now but I'm hoping to get a trial bike soon.
Its a good cross country bike and good on road with the cut-off front forks, but as soon as I started bashing it about the wheels gave in so I had to buy heavier stronger ones which defies the point of having a light weight bike.
What type of riding do u do?
