Its an oldie but a goodie.

Using lipstick as a cream (creme) blush might be dated but who cares as long as it works. Using one product to do multiply things is great because it saves space and it certainly saves money. Does that mean i don't own any cream (creme) blushes? Of course not - i'm a makeup artist - i own loads :) But i reach for lipstick more often than anything else.
It takes up no more room in my kit (bonus) plus the wax's in the lipstick melt and blend in beautifully with the foundation i use (cream or airbrush).

The real bonus though is that you can buy lipsticks ranging from £1 right up to £30. Its up to you and can fit most budgets.

Oh and you want matte - yet a matte lipstick. What shimmer? Ger a shimmer lipstick? Etc... you have a massive choice :)

Also, women of colour have a hard time finding colours that have enough pigment in them to show up. With lipsticks its much easier because you can get some amazing vivid colours.

Here are a list of lipsticks i really love and the sties you can get them from.

www.maccosmetics.com
www.love-makeup.co.uk (they sell NYX, LIMECRIME, KRYOLAN etc... - love her! - say i said hi!)
www.inglotcosmetics.com
www.makeupforever.com

MUA in superdrug do an AMAZING lipsticks for £1. I know ... £1

The point is - use what you have. You don't have to BUY BUY BUY everything that is new. Sometimes its the old classics that work and continue to work - just like that damp sponge.

Lipstick for blush? Crazy! But it works... and i love it.

NOT: I'm not affiliated with the above companies so i don't make any money from sells - however mentioning my name is always nice. So i appreciate it if you do.

  • Goss, may I be indiscrete? Could you be married to a woman of colour? :D I am just wondering because your eyes shine when you recommend products for women of this complexion!!

  • You are so handsome! I love your strikes for women of color as well, it seems like you have such a passion for darker skin LOL! I’m a brown eyed blondie white girl but I enjoy your mentioning other types of skin and I find it... refreshing? Olive skin, dark skin, ethnicity is very beautiful I agree. :)

  • I'm a woman of darker skin and I took that wink personally ;) You're my new go-to guy. Thank you!

  • excellent

  • I love your videos. Amazingly helpful!!! You're not bad to look at as well. Wouldn't kick you out of bed for eating chips...hahaha

  • Finally someone said it out loud! That's why I love your videos. Tricks are soo obvious and easy and reeeaaaly helpful! And I love this winking part :D

  • I have always been too scared to use try this but I just might. I am naturally very pale but somehow if I use blusher or bronzer it always seems to vanish after about half an hour after application, even if I apply a generous amount.

  • I've never thought about getting a matte brown lipstick to contour. Ah! Great Idea!

  • @bookerdog1234 I am wondering the same thing.

  • I feel vindicated! I've been doing this forever. What I really like is that, by using lipstick on both cheeks and lips, I'm all matched up. I don't go for matchy-matchy as a rule, esp. when it comes to eyes with the rest of my face. But to match lips and cheeks is fine, in my book. I'm only playing up the look of blood as seen through skin, which would, naturally, be the same on both lips and cheeks; just a different intensity. Love your channel!

  • @MelindaMinaJ officially: someone who has another passport than the one of the country of residence; "unofficially": everybody who does not look "native" (which in Europe is quite different than in the US, a country that has always experienced massive and principally welcome immigration). to put it bluntly: I have lived in Europe all my life, and whether in Austria or France ppl will always treat me as a foreigner/an immigrant when in fact I'm not. that s a "foreigner" here

  • is a versatile option! I have many lipsticks then.... I have many choices of color for my cheeks!!

    thanks Wayne xo
