Israel's Biometric Bill Proposition gaining pace

Last Saturday evening some 300 Israeli's gathered to protest against the Biometric bill proposition which has gained pace during the past three weeks. In recent weeks it seemed that the process of clarifying many of the questions raised was hasty and that efforts were made to pass the bill while many questions remained unsolved. As of Tuesday July 28th the special Knesset committee discussing the Biometric data bill has approved the bill for second and third voting. Still it remains to be seen what measures should be taken to protect the biometric data.
