@sykotik04 Well, I can relate to that. We may not boo our former star players in DC, but we do cheer against them during the game.

@Emper0rH0rde We did respect him before and after games. Same thing we do with Alejandro Moreno, Brian Carroll, Eric Brunner, Steven Lenhart, Jason Garey, etc. They helped us through the years, and we thank them for it. But for the 90+ minutes they're running around OUR pitch in colors that aren't Black and Gold, they are scum. Idc who you are or what you did, if you're trying to make the Crew lose, you're worthless in our eyes.

@usasoccer024 Okay, that's a reason, but I don't see it as an excuse. I'm not making an superiority claims, but when a DC United fan favorite gets transferred to another team, even if it's a rival, our fans always show him respect before and after the game.

So Brian McBride was the Columbus fans' hero for eight years, he left to play in England for a number of years, he shows up in MLS again and now they're booing him and calling him a traitor just because he's playing for another team? How classless is that?
