AC/DC Air Band-1982-True Fans! Bon Scott "Go Down!"

Here is one of a over a dozen ac/dc air band videos we did back in high school in 1982. Right around the time MTV came out. WE would spend an entire day in the basement setting up and the next air jamming all day long to ac/dc, Van halen, Def Leppard, UFO, MIchael Schenker, etc. Here is one of the many ac/dc vids we did. Keep in mind it is over 20 years old!!! We were nuts back then! But all in fun. Thanks to Dan Bontkowski singing, Rick Bontkowski on drums, Mike Bridger on Guitar and Dave Beane on Bass.

This video was back in 1982. We just shot videos in our basements and through a party one night outside with a whole stage set up and ran through about 10 songs air jamming. It was just for fun. I entered three contests over those years and won all three. Namely during the Who Made Who Tour where I performed on stage with ac/dc as part of their stage show. Fortunately, I won angus's guitar. It was fun. I haven't done this since 1989. This is just old vintage footage of the good ole years!

I was pretty infamous for my angus air guitar,the thing is I didn't have an Gibson SG,I used a tennis racket with a protective thing that made it look more like a guitar.

If I'd had a real guitar,I'd have been playing actuall music.

What's sad is Angus was younger when he started and instead of trying to look cool,he played,He didnt' run around doing air band

Funny I was doing the same thing in high school only I was being Pat Benatar..lol. These are AWESOME!! really cool to see you rock out! Plugged or unplugged.. ;-) I know these are AIr bands but do you know how to play guitar??? 'cause it sure looks real enough!
