EDIT: i kinda got mixed up on marth and kid link. use kid link's stragety to get marth, and marth's get get kid link.

@BBTBMBBX if you play a certain number of vs matches, you can unlock all the characters

For Mewtwo, does that just mean you can leave the game on for 20 hours? Or does it have to be on a Vs. mode match? If it has to be on the Vs. mode match, can it be on pause? Or will that not work?

@DinosGoRawr8 You have to be in a VS. match. I recommend having 4 controllers plugged in at a stock match. Also, if you have more controllers plugged in, then it's less time you have to play.

why cant i get luigi? i go and play adventure mode, and do what you say, luigi ends up in the adventure, but he doesn't show up after. is there something else to it?

@BBTBMBBX No. And in fact, I tried it as Samus, Roy and Jigglypuff, and kept failing because I accidentally attacked a capsule- that exploded. Instant KO. I hate it when that happens!

Why do people say that Mewtwo is unlocked after 20 hours of play?

In reality its 10 hours at most. Unless you are hacking and playing by yourself for 20 hours.

Yes you need 20 total...

but once again you can't play vs mode as one character.
