This song has nothing to do with politics. It has more to do with how we see the world around us suffering and we turn a blind eye because nobody gives a fuck about anyone else. We "take for granted" the things that we have, like we are entitled to them, and fuck everyone else. It's about the world turning to shit because no one cares anymore, yet when shit happens to them they expect the world to come to their aid. BTW Aaron Lewis is mostly conservative so plz STFU and just enjoy the song
