Pointe work in my brand new Freed Studio Pros! These are my favourite shoes so far, out of Bloch Serene, Freed Studios Professional and Grishko 2007. I got the ribbons and elastics sewn on yesterday so this was the first time I've used them properly (other than to stand in 1st and 5th holding a work surface when I first got them). Tips and constructive criticism would be great, but bare in mind they're still in the breaking in stage as I've just got them. I am not wearing ouch pouches in this video, just a thin foam across the front and side of my toes to stop rubbing and blisters.

Hope you enjoy it :)

  • Keep working on rotation, overcrossing your 5ths, and not rolling over your arches! I hope this is constuctive! I have the same issues :)

  • work on your turnout as this is extremely important and make sure your always standing on your BIG toe other wise you sickle.

  • You are good, but focus on turnout(:

And i definitely agree with frazzydances! My teacher pulled her achilles (by falling down stairs) and she couldn't dance the same ever. She can still dance, but it took her quite a while to get even close to where she was.

BE CAREFUL(: But you are doing well, and the shoes are great! haha

  • when you are doing your releve's and you go back into your plie, MAKE SURE YOUR HEELS TOUCH THE FLOOOR. all you are doing is shortening your achillies. If you keep practicing like this, without plieing all the way through, the one day you do put your achillies down, after it shortens, it may snap, and that causes surgery, and puts you out of dance.

  • i think you are really good i have always wanted freeds

  • you are pretty good! just remember when you come back down from releve to get your heels to touch the ground, around 1:01- 1:07 you just need to work on that, and i can see its mostly your back heel that needs to get to the ground. good job!

and how were your grishko's 2007? i have been wanting to get those

  • tres joli coup de pied et belle technique
