Thanks for the tut. I'm using SW 2012 and am unable to select references for the inserted plane. When I click on the end of the spiral I get nothing, Same if I try to click anywhere on the feature. Any tips?

what button did you press to pierce the spiral and the circle?

You need to re title and add that this is soft ware tutorial. Do you have any idea on how to physically make a real working spring, what the bake temp. and time is?

wow, this was awesome. thanks alot for posting it. I am a senior working on my final project and trying to teach yourself CAD on the fly is a little stressful to say the least...

Thank you so much was having a hell of a time with this. I have subscribed. Just a tip you might want to turn your audio outbound up a bit my volume is maxed and I can barely hear you.
P.S. Do you take requests if something comes up?

@emhowland Yea i know, i am using a really crappy microphone. I need to buy a nice one. Of course ill take requests. You can just post them as a comment or you can message me one. Im glad i could help out, and thanks for the tip about the audio!
