Improvised cover of Usher - Caught Up Inspired by Aaron Spears. I have been turned on to this style of "power pocket" (my term meaning powerful and "in the pocket" [ a term for very tight syncopated drumming]) kind of drumming recently. So i figured i would give this song a try, adding a bit of my own sort of style into it. A LOT of stuttering going on in my playing at times, please dont remind me :(

U and Arron Spears are the best ive seen for this cover. He is just a different style of drummer than u a lot more hard heavy hitting drummer but u r f***ing awsome keep it going..... VERY IMPRESSIVE.....

3:05 you kicked some drumming ass. Great job buddy =D If you cover it again, perhaps stick to a single pedal? I dunno if the double worked. It's cool, just maybe not on this track? Not a criticism, just a tip! (=

@owennufc its become such a habbit, and i know its really not called for, especially because alot of the playing i used it for could and usually is done with one foot in this style. I have to literally just take it off to stop myself from using it lol. but you are right on... i shouldnt even have the double set up for this track, if i were attempting to cover it with fidelity.
