@thinhtnguyen okay, u can be the person lying down and I will swing down the sledge hammer.
HeroOfXanadus 1 year ago
not trying to lessen the amazingness of this, but the hammer was not swung down straight down. if you watch, the guy jumps back to bring the hammer back with the follow through, so most of the force did not go into the guy who was laying down, it was a glancing blow to the bricks. still... thats ridiculous

This is not martial arts. The sledge hamer blinds and creates fears for those who watch it. Although it might be difficult to practice the act, but it can be done on and with an average non-martial art person.

depends on how they train, their metabolism, and a few different aspects of their life. Even the shaolin have husky monks. then again you may be right, they may just be like baseball players, just training in one area of expertise.

=0 ok but just strange because i know this is hard, and they are kind of fat for athletes. Maybe it's like baseball?

there are thin monks, tall monks, small monks, big monks, fat monks. they're just like normal people. btw, these arent like shaolin monks. usually a bigger physique means that they practise a certain artform, maybe like hung gar or something earthen like that.
