Beautiful cinematography is pitched perfectly with a classical score to give an epic ambience to this commercial. In a number of scenarios, including a riot, horserace and boxing match, people in danger curl themselves into balls to protect themselves from dog, fire, hoof and glove. Polo relates this human survival instinct to the design of their small car. 'Have you ever noticed how protected you feel when you make yourself small'.

  • @Mugash the man is being dragged down by the police.

  • 数ある自動車のCMの中で1番好きです。

    しかし、デモだの警察に追われるだの監督さん頭の中って…w

  • I've been looking for this for years, love it and Faure's Requiem is gorgeous. Also on the playstation add 'Double Life' and on the end of 28 Days Later and probably lots of other stuff.

  • Err... Durufle Requiem will change your life then. Makes the Faure sound like it takes longer to perform than it did to write.

  • If you get a sec, listen to the rest of Fauré's Requiem. My spine will never be the same.

That said, this advert/short film puts Honda, Sony Bravia etc. in the shade.

  • Ha! I just read what your wrote in the nores, the agency was BMP DDB. I used to work for them! Makes ya proud!

  • Whoever out this one here, thank you.

This is one of my fave ads of ALL time.

Its is stunning. I remember it moved me so much when I first saw it. Its just the music and the way it is shot and the pitch line at the end. Its utterly perfect. I always wanted to see it again.

    Thanks.

  • Oh, I see it now. Thanks.

  • A sit-in demonstrant who is carried away by the police.

  • There's a weird shot at 0:08. Can anyone explain who the head at the top right corner of the screen belongs to?
