My Super Oscars are 30 years old but they'd still be way better than most of the lights the guys at my local track use. Most of them buy crappy SPOTLIGHTS instead of driving lights, and get 2 white "dinner plates" out front with nothing to the sides where it matters. I'm just a guy who was lent some lights and decided to let others see the comparison for themselves - not an automotive test lab or tv/ magazine journalist with a pile of resources. A test of LED globes may follow.

Brilliant Video.
12v 55W halogen = 4.5Amps per lamp
12v 100W halogen = 8.3amps per lamp
The LED lamps in this video = 3.3amps per lamp.
Also: 9-50V DC. 50,000hrs life span. 3200 lumin. An IP68 protection rating makes VisionX LED lights impenetrable to dust and submersible under water up to 3 meters.

The difference is amazing, almost like night and day!
What fantastic lights. Probably use less power and have a far better life span that the old "King" lights.
