This is a multi-winning show car. It was a rotisserie restored, matching numbers car. It is totally stock. Beautiful Matador red and India ivory paint. Stunning red and black interior. At the national Chevrolet meet in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho it won best engine compartment. 283 V-8 engine with Power Pack four barrel carburetor. New stainless steel power-pac dual exhaust system. Cast-iron power glide transmission. Manual steering and brakes. AM/FM stock looking Wonderbar radio. Note the radio dial numbers. This has to be one of the 10 best Bel-Air sports coupes in the US. I would tell you that you need to come and inspect this car thoroughly. When you see the photos of the underside you can tell it was restored correctly. You will see the red primer with the black stripes, that is the way this car came from the factory. I think the only thing that is not stock is stainless steel exhaust system, radio and the radial wide whites. They drive so much better than bias ply tires. Another interesting thing is the battery. It looks like the original battery but it's just a cover sitting on top of a new battery. The Bel-Air came from Colorado to Washington and was restored in the 1990s. The last owner purchased it in 2002 and showed it several times. It won lots of trophies. Seattle Roadster Show 1st place in class. Yakima Washington VCCA meet 1st place. I do not know if there was any rust in this car at all, I sure never saw any signs of it. I think it was a good car to start with. I have over 200 photos on the web page so you can see it well. Wait till you see the video. I have known the last owner for years and he is a perfectionist. If it was not '57 stock he changed it. Where are you going to find one like this? The reason for #1- is that a #1 you can not drive (trailer-queen only) and this one has 12,905 miles since restoration. Cond # 1-.
