Beer Barrel Polka (Roll out the Barrel) Piano roll

Here is QRS roll # 7009 played by HI Babit.
The popularity of the Polka began in the late 1930s. This song was written by a Czech musician Jaromfr Vejvoda in 1927 with help in arranging from Eduard Ingris. It was titled "Polka of Modrany" During WWII the song became very popular with soldiers , regardless of their alliances. Many times it was thought that it was written in the country in which it had just become a hit, Its real composer was not widely known until after the war.
Listen as this tune gives my player a real work out.

The QRS version really is the best. We had this at our fraternity house player piano (music frat), and it's always funny at the end when the roll has the holes that play a bunch of bass notes, and are supposed to trigger the auto-rewind function of the piano, which usually never ends up working anyway.
