This is the arduino part of my first arduino project. It's a small part of my work at university. Some pics can be found here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/madworm_de

  • So what does this thing do?

Are you driving all those LEDs with a serial in / parallel out shift register or something?

    Looks cool.

  • Well, this is a display for a mechanical gadget we put in our vacuum setup. The arduino reads 2 rotational encoders, nothing special but saved us a lot of money compared to commercial products. The LEDs are driven by a MAX7221 chip.

There's some pictures on my Flickr page. A link should be on my profile page.
