The future is made of plastic and is being gradually spat out of a 3D
printer. CNET's Luke Westaway took to the floor of London's 3D printer
show to examine trinkets, musical instruments, a house, and even
replica cat skeletons scanned from mummified remains

ok, and buy the SAME EXACT PLASTIC PART in the store, which used TONS of fuel (gas) to transport and make, then sell it for 20x the price it was made, then also pay for the case (plastic holding thing), and alot of times people only 1 part from a whole thing, so lets take out that one piece and throw away the rest of the item

There is a new material, a new plastic, witch isn't out of oil but out of plants, and its biodegradable... some printers are already using it.

You're wrong about the moving parts thing. There are plenty of 3d printers capable of printing multiple interlocking parts in one go, you don't necessarily need to print them separately.
