@pricemodel1983 The pattern is called "flamestitch" and was a popular print back then--an old favorite from 16th century tapestry. My mom had a couch upholstered in this print and I always thought it looked like Charlie Brown's shirt.

As I sit here contemplating life in general I am forced to wonder out loud....."Why did I just watch this?".
-
They were banned soon after his wife passed away IIRC
-
When did Bob outlaw fur coats?
-
Holly was so hot.
-
Unfortunately we'll never see this on TV again because of the fur. Just as we'll never see a lot of 50's shows on TV again because they were sponsored by cigarette companies.
-
At least the cash register should change with the times, just like the game. (Who uses those old-fashioned cash registers these days other than TPIR?)
-
Pillsbury before the Doughboy? Wow.
-
At least Bob knows how to multiply and add. Most young people today are lost if the computerized cash register breaks down. Just try finding someone under 30 who knows how to "make change" without the help of the cash register.

Good question. But at the same time, you don't want Bob up in arms on an issue like that...which explains why THIS episode, the 1972 premiere, and others didn't make it to the DVD set that came out a couple weeks ago.
this is an episode that WILL NEVER air again on national tv if reruns occur in the future!!

Yeah, those were the good old days, before all that politically correct bullshit we have to put up with now . . .
