@evann300 never mind, i looked at your upload date, and i don't think that was helpful

@evann300 well, if the attack on rue plummet has it's intro, then you have a short conversation with Éponine before the traditional rue plummet
-

OH MY GOD THIS IS DUBBED D:
I was watching it with the sound off and didn't notice
Oh Lord what have they done

Oh HELLS yes. Sure he's a little older than in the book but this depiction is fine by me. He looks a lot like some of the engravings of him in old editions.

This is a really good movie. Is it available anywhere?

"Just look at that table, what'll everyone think?!"
Oh sure, we'll torture and intimidate a guy but Heaven forbid should any furniture go askew!
Montparnasse is très sexy here!

so this part HAS been filmed nearly exact like in the book! I 've often thought it was impossible to film this branding thing.
and actually, this is the first Jean Valjean I have seen who realy has white hear. This is so like the book. Very good job! Less films are so close to the fictie they are showing. If the same can be said of the ending... must be hard. Also the casting for the role of Marius was a good thing. This man looks very good, just as Marius is always described.
I'm in the musical of Les Miserables and just got cast for Montparnasse and wanna know what he does in the musical- can anyone help me out?

Well, he basically says "Go home, 'Ponine, go home, you're in the way." Extra points if you continuously try to feel up Eponine.

Where's Clacky?

I say you can't see him because he's CLAQUESOUS. That's my theory.

This version is the closest to the book of any I've yet found. And Marius is certainly the best, though I don't much care for the Jean Valjean.

I kinda like Jean Gabin. The problem with his performance is the really crappy English dub.
Which is why I'd probably sell my soul for a region one DVD of that film in the original French.
