I would be careful as many parasitic worms begin as microscopic in size and then grow to visible sizes so it could actually get inside you without you seeing it, just don't stick your hands in your mouth.

tapeworms enter the fish by ingestion and not through the gills :)

also the black spots you saw are probably Ichthyophthirius multifilis, its a cestode.

haha I hope you washed your hands thoroughly and cooked the fish real well before you ate it.. these parasites CAN enter the human bodies and infect them as well. So be careful.
