John Saw, CTO, Clearwire, speaks on the importance of spectrum and Clearwire's intent to overlay another 4G technology on top of their current WiMAX systems.
CLEAR promised to give me fast internet speeds (I purchased the "best" & "fastest" internet package they have)-but while watching movies on Netflix with my internet enabled LCD TV, movies get interrupted by a "pop up" that says my internet connection is too slow to continue the movie in high-definition- then gives me the option to choose a lower resolution. I've found out that CLEAR has been "THROTTLING" me (intentionally slowing my download speeds). Please Google this: "clearwire throttling"
Microwaves, the kind used in microwave ovens,
are at a frequency of 2.45 gHz. How safe is it
to broadcast high bandwidth internet content in
the 2.5 gHz range? Wi-Fi routers are advertised
to transmit in the 2.4 gHz range too. How much
background microwave radiation should North
Americans be subjected to?

In 3rd world countries, such as those found in Asia and AFrica,
North American cigarette companies are free to advertise, market,
and promote smoking, to the masses (regardless of age)...
And they are not required to warn consumers that statisticians
have concluded that there is a positive correlation between smoking
and various forms of cancer...
If the cigarette industry is exporting population control policies,
perhaps the cell phone industry is as well?
