Sorry my friend: this is a Swamp Dogg original! Solomon was one of Swamp Dogg's protege's. Dylan plays the Dogg occasionally on his radio show.

I have to say, this is nothing in comparison to Solomon Burke's original.

No matter how long you listen to Dylan there will always be interesting songs he recorded that you have not yet heard.

His voice here perfectly captures the imagery of this rare song. Probably the best 1987 Dylan recording ever.

A devoted bobfan would not say he is trying to imitate Prince or compare with him. Bob is the most powerful creative artist of our time, and would never say he is gifted...and neither would I. You, on the other hand use the YouTube public posting device to say you are "A gifted individual". Better read my review on boblinksDOTcom it`s the last one posted -my name- Alberto Ortega Gurza... If you read it you`ll know how a devoted fan speaks of Bob Dylan and do go away from my window, will you?

I am gifted,if with nothing else, with a sense of humour, for which I am very greatful. You seem to lack that ability. Dylan, btw, made fun of Prince, and compared himself to him (as a joke)which is what I am referring to; during his Travelling Wilbury Days while writing the song "Dirty World". You are hardly the no 1 authority on how to 'speak of Bob'. I speak of Bob the musician any way I please, and I certainly do not need your permission to make a joke on YouTube.
